Sullivan room tax is a county treasurer errand, not a platform guess
Sullivan lodging operators should check the Treasurer's room-tax page for the five percent rate, separate charge, and quarterly returns.

Sullivan County has a 5 percent room tax. Do not assume a booking site, bookkeeper, or town office handled it. Operators who must collect the tax register with the Treasurer for a Certificate of Authority.
The tax must be shown apart from rent on the record, bill, or statement. A return is due each quarter even when no tax is sent with it.
A Catskills rental may also have local zoning or rental rules. County room-tax forms and payments go through the Treasurer.
Keep the operator name, property address, certificate, bookings, tax line, return, and payment by quarter. Note which stays came through a platform and which were direct.
