Ontario County city tax bills have a county lookup route

Ontario County publishes city-tax-bill and tax-bill lookup pages that can help residents find the right official bill source.

Published June 24, 2026 · Last verified June 24, 2026

Ontario County taxpayers should start with the county’s own tax-bill pages when looking for a current bill or a city-related tax bill. The county publishes a City Tax Bills page and a View Your Tax Bill page, which can keep residents from relying on screenshots, old mailed copies, or third-party search results.

If the question is about a city bill, open the City Tax Bills route. If it concerns another current bill, start with View Your Tax Bill. Match the result to the parcel number, municipality, and tax year before using the balance.

For an escrow review, closing, or late-payment check, save the looked-up bill with the balance and receipt. When the parcel, year, balance, or payment record does not match, take those exact details to the office listed for that bill.
