If a Freeport project needs a building permit, file it through OpenGov. The Village Building Permits route links straight to the Freeport OpenGov portal.
Before signing a work agreement or setting a start date, ask which permit type applies and who will file it. Also ask how you will receive proof of filing or approval. A buyer can use the same route for finished space, a deck, a converted garage, or recent outside work.
