Franklin County tax payments belong on the treasurer route early
Franklin County taxpayers should separate treasurer payment questions from assessment or deed questions.

Franklin County tax questions can split between two offices. Start payment and collection questions with the Treasurer. Take assessment and tax-map questions to Real Property Tax Services.
Name the problem before mailing money or disputing a value. If the question is whether a bill was paid, what remains due, or where a payment belongs, open the Treasurer route with the bill in hand. If the question is about the assessed value or tax map, use Real Property Tax Services.
A payment status is not the same as an old tax balance, and assessment data is not the same as an ownership record. Keep the bill, parcel number, tax year, payment status, and office directions together. For a value or map issue, bring those parcel details to Real Property Tax Services.
