Bronx HPD Violations Can Be Certified Online
Bronx owners with eligible HPD violations should know when eCertification is available and when paper or reinspection steps still matter.

A fixed HPD violation does not clear itself. If HPD allows eCertification, an owner, officer, or agent named in the record may file online after enrolling. The building’s property registration must be current.
Lead violations cannot use this route. A late or false filing may require HPD to inspect again, and there may be a fee.
First look up the violation and see whether HPD allows an online filing. Then gather proof of the repair and use either the certification route or the dismissal route.
Use HPD Online to find the record, then check Property Registration, Clear Violations, Lead, and Reinspection as needed. Keep the notice, building address, violation number, repair proof, HPD reply, filing receipt, and date together while any deadline is open.
